Policies and information

Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct governing participation in, or access to, ICSE Zimbabwe's website and services.

Our standard

ICSE Zimbabwe promotes commercially responsible and Christian-values-informed business conduct. Respect, honesty, stewardship, fairness, professionalism and lawful dealing apply to members, applicants, staff, advisers, partners and visitors participating in chapter activities.

Truthful representation

Do not misstate identity, qualifications, ownership, financial capacity, project readiness, transaction authority or the status of another person's opportunity. Disclose material conflicts of interest promptly and do not make misleading promises of finance, contracts or returns.

Respect and safeguarding

Treat others with dignity regardless of gender, faith, origin, disability, age or business status. Harassment, intimidation, exploitation, coercion and inappropriate use of an organisational position are prohibited. Participation in ICSE does not require agreement with another person's beliefs.

Confidentiality and ideas

Respect confidential proposals and commercially sensitive information. Do not copy, distribute or use another participant's materials or data without permission or a lawful basis. Separate confidentiality and intellectual property agreements may be required before sensitive joint work begins.

Lawful and fair transactions

Observe applicable laws on bribery, corruption, sanctions, money laundering, labour practices, tax, procurement and competition. Do not solicit personal payments in exchange for guaranteed access or preferential treatment.

Use of chapter resources

Use website accounts, enquiry tools and shared resources only for authorised purposes. Do not scrape data, access records without permission, interfere with platform security or use membership to misrepresent an endorsement by ICSE or its partners.

Reporting and responses

Raise misconduct concerns through the contact channel provided by the relevant chapter. Provide enough information for fair assessment, but avoid broadcasting confidential allegations. Reports should be assessed proportionately and without retaliation for good-faith concerns.

A response may include clarification, a warning, temporary restriction, withdrawal of participation or referral to competent authorities where required. Decisions remain subject to applicable law and any relevant agreement.

Commitment

By participating in chapter activities, you agree to observe these standards alongside the Terms of Use and other published policies.
